Today, Team 2708 is hard at work designing, building, and testing our next robot while collaborating with mentors and teammates to sharpen our skills in engineering, programming, and strategy. We’re also preparing for upcoming community events, demonstrating our robots to inspire young students, and organizing STEM outreach activities to give back to our local community. Every day, we grow as innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers
At 2708, Lake Effect Robotics pushes to inspire and empower students through hands-on robotics and STEM education. We strive to foster a collaborative environment where students develop critical skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership while designing and building competitive robots for the FIRST Robotics Competition. Through our commitment to gracious professionalism and community outreach, we aim to ignite a passion for innovation, inspire future leaders in engineering and technology, and make a positive impact in our local and global communities.
Over the years, Lake Effect Robotics has earned many awards and achieved major milestones. Most notably, we won the 2018 FIRST World Championship.
